This is a news about Philippine president Duterte signing a law that makes all Filipinos being a member of the Philhealth under the Universal Healthcare Act. The new law making all Filipinos getting an access from the very basic healthcare to those that require a specialist about their health concerns.
The new law also aims to build hospitals and clinics in remote and far-away parts of the country. Every member will have an access from check-up to the treatment of their health issues and will be fully or partially covered depending if they will go to the government hospitals or private hospitals.
The implementing rules and regulations about it will get done for about 180 days so with that news I might be getting what I am longing for a very long time which is a more frequent dialysis sessions.
The Philhealth will get an additional funding from the "Sin Taxes" of Tobacco and Liquor products including e-cigarettes and will require about five billion dollars in order for the payments operations to get implemented this year or maybe six months from now.
