Sheriff Joe Arpaio Found Guilty of Criminal Contempt

"Former Sheriff Joe Arpaio committed a crime by defying a court order to stop detaining suspected undocumented immigrants, a judge ruled on Monday, in the latest rebuke for a once-popular politician who was voted out of office last year."

I honestly never thought I would see the day. I've had to many friends and family members suffer in the brutal conditions of tent city. I've seen warrants issued by shady judges on entire city blocks so armies of deputies can sweep in with no consideration of rights or property. I've watched all of our state resources be drained harassing anyone with dark skin, instead of perusing violent crime. I dispise this man an everything he's done to my home state. I doubt he'll ever see a jail cell, but at least he's a recorded criminal. His sentencing is on October 5th, but I'm sure he'll appeal. Happy day in AZ
