Forbes List of highest paid actors 2017

A couple of days ago,I did an article on forbes list of highest paid actresses, you can find it here. There were a lot of people eager for the analysis of forbes list of actors, the list came out this week, let us have a look at it.

Mark Wahlberg is the actor that earned the most money during the year in review, raking in estimated 68 million dollars, he pushes last years highest earner The rock down to 2nd while Vin Diesel rounds up the top three with an estimated 54.5 million dollars in total earnings.

I could not help but notice the huge difference in earnings to the highest paid actresses list.Mark Wahlberg who is the highest paid actor earned a whopping 42 million dollars(162%) more than his female counterpart,Emma watson who is the highest paid actress.If I were to combine both lists,Emma watson would come in 15th.I understand there are some factors that leads to this difference but I believe a lot more can be done to try and even up the pay scales.

The average age for actors in the list is 48, this points to a strong demand for proven and established talkents in filling superstar Roles.

At 34, Chris Hemsworth is the youngest actor on the list

Indian Pacesetters

Again American actors dominate the list with 15 of the 20 actors on the forbes list coming from the USA.

I personally enjoy watching Indian Movies and I am pleased to see that top actors from India are getting the recognition and rewards they deserve. Shah Rukh Khan,Salman Khan and Akshay Kumar are the three indians on the list with 38,37 and 35.5 million dollars earned respectively.
