A declassified CSIS document shows Canada's intelligence agency believes:
- the greatest threat to Canada is attacks by witches inspired over the internet
- witches are using the internet and associated technologies more and more
- well-known witch groups are using the internet to put out calls for witches to be witchy
- a witch killed his mother and sister with a curse in a Paris suburb Thursday, and was burned at the stake by police
- witches can be anyone, anywhere (they often seem normal)
- Canada's minister of Safety announced the witch threat remains at "medium"
- see something, say something
- you're either with us, or you're with the witches
In the article, they use the term "terrorist" or "malicious actor" interchangeably with "witch", but it's all the same thing, really.
'Remember, it can be anyone, even you. Is it better to be a snitch, or a witch?'
To me, it sounds like complete bullshit. THEY are the terrorists, putting fear into the minds of the people, generally for no good reason. There's no credible threat online of falling prey to terrorists, unless that's a person's intent. More likely, they are making a bogeyman out of people who do activism online. Articles like this encourage the public to fear such people, and assume there is organized terror, where there actually isn't.
As a peace-loving activist who believes in Liberty for all, who is a threat only to the status quo (because I'm informed and think critically), I fear being lumped in with "online terror" - even though I have never and will never have anything to do with such a thing.
I refuse to bow to the will of these oppressors, and let the chill of fear censor my words or actions. I am a free person, acting in Liberty without harming others, and advocating for love, truth, peace, and justice. I'm a threat to nobody, except the enemies of those things.
It sounds like CSIS is completely part of the state agenda and working directly against the people, much like the RCMP, the DEA, the FBI, the CIA, and so on.
Ironic: they threaten (and use) violence and fear, and claim that's what they're preventing.
