Hello my fellow steemians!
It has finally happend! Bitcoin has offcially topped its previous record of $5000 and hit a whooping record of $5364! Below is a chart of bitcoins growth pattern from October 11- October 12:
This brings us to the the interesting fact that Bitcoin has climbed a staggering 454% just this year!...Even though Bitcoin has taken some serious punches, and really scared the living day light out of some investors as it saw some rough days(thats me), the coin still manages to break its own records time after time.
The markets became flooded today, and exchanges were slow all thanks to this hype, but im not complaing at all!
Bitcoin however still has a rough time ahead as the planned hardfork Bitcoin Cash releases the 25th of October! Will this bring this crypto currency down? Or is it just another bump in the road before another new record? Only time will tell :P
