Publisher Take-Two Interactive has created a division of Private Division to support independent developers
The publisher and distributor of computer games Take-Two Interactive has created a unit that will support the projects of independent developers. Private Division will allow developers to focus on the creative process, and the entire business component will be put on its shoulders.
At the moment, Private Division is already involved in several projects. So, his game in the genre of RPG through a new publisher is promoted by David Goldfarb (previously worked on the creation of Battlefield: Bad Company 2 and Battlefield 3). Also in the work is another unannounced game in the genre RPG from Obsidian Entertainment (Fallout: New Vegas, South Park: The Stick of Truth). In addition, the project Ancestors: The Humankind Odyssey is reported from the creator of Assassin's Creed Patrica Desile. Co-author Halo Marcus Leto with the help of Private Division will promote his so far unnamed fantastic shooter. Finally, the publisher took under its wing the game Kerbal Space Program.
It should be noted that only the Kerbal Space Program is at the final stage of development. It should be available on Xbox One and PlayStation 4 consoles as early as January 2018. None of the other game projects are expected for the next year. In particular, their releases are not planned for the fiscal years Take-Two Interactive, which will end on March 31, 2018 and 2019 calendar years.
