The EC Called on The HC to Stay Ordering Polls by The City of Dhaka

The decision was made by the Election Commission on the basis of a decision of the High Court that it stayed for six months at DNCC and by four months by eighteen MPs at DSCC.

Election Commissioner Kabita Khanam said on Sunday that the EC had instructed the secretariat to take the necessary measures in this regard.

This poll is scheduled for February 26.
