I've long believed in the importance in journalism and journalists and the role they play in society. Today we live in an information bubble where only the news thats relevant to us gets fed to us via our social media platforms or other (usually free) online sources.
We are the first generation that gets the news WE want delivered to us the way we want. Deciding what makes the news is the work of journalists, are they are the only ones trained to make that call.
Whilst Steem is a great platform for curation and creation We must find a way to use the monetary model that this revolutionary platform provides to encourage and invite journalists the world over to use this as a medium to share with us the stories that matter.
Steem has endless possibilities and use cases, ultimately as a platform dedicated to creating quality content Journalists must not be forgotten but given a platform to share the stories that shape our world and change peoples lives.
