I only made two editions of my first NFT for NFTShowroom. The first was purchased by @bryan-imhoff - which I am very thankful for! This second, and last edition is now on sale as well.
I'm planning to take this concept further which is why it has "(1/2)" in the title. It is the first part of a duo. The second part will be an animated version. I'm still deciding how/if I make that version special to NFTShowroom because I've also considered selling it on another platform.
This piece is personalized in the messaging, feeling, and content. The figure is a 3D scan of myself standing in an actually gallery. The scene itself is my interpretation and response to criticisms of digital art and it's inability to be recognized by traditional artists as something of equal value. I've had the unfortunate experience of meeting a traditional artist that I looked up to that soured the experience by talking down to digital art and selling prints, and how much better he and his traditional paintings are. I didn't even bother getting his opinion on my portfolio, which was 100% digital at the time.
