Yesterday was a long day, one of those days when work never lets up. Between orders and errands, the star of Chocolates Alile was the 16 chocolates offer, which seems to have won over the palates of several customers. A sweet and charming offering that has been wonderfully received. Nothing like a good chocolate to warm the heart and bring smiles!

I repaired my phone screen. I mentioned in a previous post that my phone, a Samsung Galaxy S20 Ultra 5G (yes, that's its full name), had a blank screen, and there were two solutions: either repair the flex cable or buy a new one. The problem was that, on the one hand, the repair had to be done with specialized machines, and on the other hand, they were charging me around $300 for a new screen.

Some of the flowers I saw in the garden look a little wilted perhaps due to lack of water, during my stay I photographed many flowers, including the Ixora, these come in various colors, even in the garden there are pink and red, the yellow flowers as the title of the publication says are the most abundant and the largest plants correspond to the yellow flowers, the leaves and branches look beautiful covered by flowers, of the pink and red there are few flowers and one plant of each, this plant adapts very well to warm climates, adorning the garden and public spaces.

I always say that quality is more important than quantity, and that applies here too. Some items have family history or are antique and have been passed down through generations, and the brooches I am bringing you are more family heirlooms than my own personal possessions. Others have been gifts, and the badge was earned through merit.

The first was the staging of a play called "This Train Is Called Desire," in which my wife plays the role of Estela, a high-society woman who one day ran into a low-life, fell in love, left everything (including her family), and went to live with him in a place of terrible conditions. Their love was complex and fraught with physical abuse and needs that, for her, became part of her daily routine, since in her mind and heart, it was her love for Marlon (the boy she met) and his "love" for her that was most important above all. There are many other details about the staging of the play that I won't go into here, as well as some other characters who are vitally important to the story.

So, what to make? It had to be chocolate again, but this time, muffins. The wife likes chocolate and won't be able to moan about the amount of time I spend 'messing about' in the kitchen. Actually, the main reason was that I'd just bought some cool brown paper bun cases! Really, though, it's an easy recipe that I can come back to over and over and exchange the type of oil used for margarine and butter and decide which is best...as if I didn't know!

To be honest, I think I've done it all my life, talking to myself, verbalizing my thoughts instead of keeping them internally. I remember when I was little, I played alone, I talked for myself and for my imaginary friend, a friend who was very supportive, empathetic with me, always told me what I expected to hear, always listened to me and applauded my feelings. In my school days, my self-talk also continued, I talked to myself too much, especially when I had exams, presentations, or interrogations. I would study, then I would interrogate myself. If I got it right, she would cheer me up, and if not, she would scold me harshly. Of course, doing it this way made the task easier for me, I was able to understand the subject better, and it made memorizing easier.

cordial greeting to this beautiful #Music community. On this occasion, I present my trumpet interpretation of "Emotion", a song that mixes genres such as Disco and Pop, composed by Barry and Robin Gibb of the Bee Gees in 1977. I really like the first version with Samantha Sang and Barry Gibb's choir. The melody is very beautiful, emotional, with repetitions in its phrases, but with slight variations. I perform this piece in the key of D Major; the original version is probably in C Major. I recorded a second voice and added it to part of the chorus. I would have liked to be more precise when editing the vocals, but I didn't use headphones, which makes it a bit difficult to keep time. The tempo is moderate and has an ethereal disco groove. The lyrics are very beautiful and moving because they speak of loneliness, longing, and vulnerability in the face of the lack of love and emotional connection.
