Forgive me, had just woke up and didn't have coffee yet when hearing about the new upcoming release of the Nikon P1000 with it's massive zoom. The P1000 will have 4k recording and RAW, plus a lens ring to more easily manually focus with the ability to change exposure, white balance or ISO from the lens barrel. Much needed! I don't think it'll have clean hdmi out for external monitors during live recording, it's probably only for playback (drat!).
Right now the price shows as $996 at B&H Photo and Amazon, to be released Sept 6, 2018.
