I stopped fapping about 12 years ago. But in order to gain complete control of semen retention I realized that I had to take control of my dreams at night.
Then I discovered that whatever dream I had during any given night has a lot to do with the voices and images that I allow in my head. This brought me to a very important and powerful question: How to best deal with your subconscious mind?
I've come to realize that we are all intoxicated by culture way more than we can even suspect. I went to watch back some of the movies I watched during my childhood, several decades ago, and then I could identify some patterns in my behavior that I've expressed my whole life and that I believed to be my own. I could clearly see that those patters weren't really mine. They were inoculated in my subconscious and I allowed them in.
So, in order to meet the challenge of gaining control over dreams the first step I took was to remove the source of the damage. That's how I completely eliminated all kinds of movies and TV series from my life.
I haven't seen any TV show since around 10 years. No Game of thrones, no Peaky Blinders, nothing. I don't even have a TV. I also haven't gone to a movie theater in about 4 years.
I also almost completely eradicated music with lyrics (meaning music with words). This is because at some point I realized that consciousness and attention are truly something precious and it is PATHETIC to led your attention be driven by the automatic voices in your head from some random (probably drug addict) author of a song; a guy you never knew who wrote a letter that, contrary to normal life, didn't evolve with time.
So, I'll say that now I am under much more control of my mind than a regular fellow. Still, from time to time I hear some of those voices in my head, especially from old songs I listened during my childhood or teens. I take especial care to modify the lyrics of those songs so as to prevent them from being decadent. Instead, if the song is really contagious and hard to remove from my head I simply modify the lyrics so that they become a form of controlled NLP that benefits me.
In the case of images coming from other sources, such as a random women passing the street that left an impression in my head, I simply momentarily focus my attention on that image and destroy it. Either by burning the image or destroying the characters in it.
I am aware how radical this sounds. Fuck it. Having control of my mind and heart and this is what allows me to maintain semen retention for months and months and that's a super power.
