Seems like the tensions n on the Korean peninsula is ascalating to levels unseen since the first time North Korea announced their pocession of nukes. Now that North Korea keeps on sticking their head out the window waiting for the US to attempt the first punch. But without the approval of China the odds are very low for the US to attempt a surgical strike. And given the policies of the Moon administration and the fact that notification to South Korea would pretty much blantantly make it a public announcement the surgical strike out of Korea is very unlikely.
I think that the adding Japan to the picture will provide a new scenario. There will be objection from regional members they will not pose any threat to China or Russia. It might be against their constitution. But will the current situation make such a constition valid?
