Whenever I am working on a large painting project like my Duomo Prainting Project, I need to take a bit a of a break to work on smaller painting projects, mostly just to clear my mind. On of the things that I love to make are wall art in my apartment. I started a few years back and have been filling in the space like a tattoo artist fills up a body, one project at a time. This painting is part of an eight part project, each part is the same octoganal shape that you can find also on another wall in the apartment. Each "scudo" will represent a symbol that is important to me. I have been a fan of Ferrari since 1992, when I moved to Italia.

Here you can see the layout of the eight "scudi" on ythe wall over the entrance to my studio. you can also see some of the other parts of the wall art that I have been working on mixed in with some hanging art as well.

I also painted the sky over the chandelier and made a small window too. These are fun projects that are more of a decoration than anything else. I spend way more time on my canvases which are my main focus. However, I have been having a lot of fun with the decoration of my apartment!
I have been working on some other paintings which I will be posting shortly, and then I will get back to the Duomo which still has tons of work to go. If you like what you see here, I would appreciate an upvote, and feel free to resteem the post so that more people can get to know my art. I would love to hear from you in a comment here below, if you have any questions about my process, this is the place!
A presto, Matteo @matteopaints
