Consultation
We want to make sure our office is a good fit for you. We offer a complimentary consultation to help you understand how a NUCCA chiropractic adjustment may help you. We will also address what to expect for your new patient appointment and answer any questions you may have.
During your complimentary consultation, we will cover the following:
– Health history
– Posture and leg check
– Description of care
– Answer your questions
If we decide that you’re a good candidate for our care, we will refer you to the front desk to schedule your new patient appointment.
New Patient Visit
First, we will take a series of x-rays. We use them to understand how your body has responded to being out of alignment over time. They also help us determine how to correct the misalignment, also known as a subluxation. You will also get your first upper cervical adjustment during this appointment. After the adjustment and a brief 20 min rest, we take more x-rays to make sure your alignment is being restored.
We recommend that you clear your schedule for the rest of the day to allow your body to balance and heal after your adjustment.
What we’ll do during your new patient visit:
– X-rays and analysis
– Report of findings
– Upper cervical adjustment
– Rest
– Post adjustment x-rays
Future Visits
As your trusted NUCCA chiropractor in Plymouth, we’re going to let you in on a little secret. It’s not the adjustment that helps you heal, it’s when your body is HOLDING its correction that you heal the most. HOLDING IS HEALING and less adjusting is GOOD! Our goal is to help you hold your correction as long as possible. So, when you come in for a regular visit, we’ll see if you need any of the following:
– adjustment
– muscle release
– stretching
– ergonomic assessment/ recommendation
– lifestyle changes
