Nuit Blanche 2018 : Installation et performance de Pascal Boyart à L'institut de France

Pour la première fois, l'Institut de France participe à la Nuit Blanche et invite l’artiste urbain Pascal Boyart à lui donner un éclairage totalement inédit.

Depuis le pont des Arts, au pied de la majestueuse Coupole, le public peut apercevoir un portrait monumental du Cardinal Mazarin (2,20 x 6 m), éclairé par de la lumière noire, ce qui lui donne cette couleur bleu profond et une allure irréelle.

Une fois entré dans la cour d'honneur, on découvre l'artiste Pascal Boyart en pleine réalisation d'une performance artistique de peinture en lumière noire aux sons des tambours de la garde républicaine.
