(please let the gif load, it might take a while on mobile)
sure, i realise that i look like a mad professor but i've had a lot of fun for the last few hours experimenting with some video genlocked backgrounds that i'm going to use as part of an OBS video streaming setup for recording in a variety of different circumstances be it live or offline and either daily or at events. i'm obsessed with tinkering and really the biggest thing that holds me back recording regular shows and contents for sites like youtube is not the guests, people or topics but letting my own compulsion to tinker out of the way.
that's why i'm working on a ready to go obs setup that i can copy and duplicate and take with me, heck i can even store it in the cloud as a download as a zip file so that i only have to setup the camera component on the machine i'm on and i'm ready to go, now that's decentralized!
i'm gonna working on packaging it up on obs now and then record a little youtube video of the progress of that, i've got a bunch of overlays i want to work on and i want to get the profile configured so i can do a variety of video styles, i've got a basic version for 'in the moment videos' using telestream wirecast but i'd like this to be in obs which is free for anyone to download and use and works on most platforms.
for those interested i made these in telestream wirecast, recorded the video and converted it with gif brewery3 to include as a picture here, i also used the following websites to play around with backgrounds and tiling the steemit logo
https://www.bgreco.net/tiler <-- cool image tiler for making wallpapers
https://patterninja.com <--- tiler pattern maker, wish it export to desktop size
