This is my contribition to @derangedvisions Story Telling theme contest.
I can tell you that last year I took a walk to an incredible place is a cathedral that in the distance can be seen for its great architecture and appearance, it is called "Sanctuary of Our Lady of Las Lajas" located in Ipiales, Nariño / Colombia. Considered the most beautiful and magical temple, as if it came out of a story that kings and princesses, of America.
Its main building measures 27.50 meters high and its towers 100 meters; And, it has a bridge that is 50 meters long and 17 meters wide, the place is impressive, it cost us a 4 and a half hour drive. Among its attractions are that this temple has many precious stones and luxuries within it, it is well known for its picture with a gold crown, sapphires, diamonds, emeralds and pearls.
There are many slabs that are flat and wide gray stones that surround the whole place, that's why its name "Las Lajas".
I liked very much to know this cathedral that with its excellent medieval architecture and topographic location between the cliffs of the Andes mountain range, which before my eyes looked like a postcard. I had the great fortune to meet him and enjoy the stay.
