Hello hive users. Greetings to all my readers of this post. This is a good day for me. I was invited to my mentor's house for lunch. It is good to have someone you can talk to and listen to different kinds of topics. How are you today? I hope everyone is in good health.

With the word "alone" most of us got fearful and frightened of being alone. I am not afraid to be alone why should I? Isaiah 41:10-12 says "So do not fear, for I am with you; Do not be dismayed, for I am your God. I will strengthen you and help you; I will uphold you with my righteous right hand (NIV). These made me no fear about the word alone.
I have been alone in the house for almost 3 months, years back my parents left me 4 months before they invited a family to move in but I never liked that idea. I strongly stand for it. I told my parents if you leave me again I don't want anyone in the house. I knew my parent was worried about my safety.
I enjoyed being alone and at my own pace. I took this opportunity to improve myself and be a responsible adult. Take care of the household chores, buy groceries, make sure to pay all the bills on time, etc., You can do a lot of things when you are alone. Decision-making will mold you every day. Being alone is challenging. No kidding or joking about depression it will hit you. You think about negative things and you self-pity yourself.
If you don't have a strong personality or strong self-esteem it will eat you alive. When the moment I feel this and I can observe my behaviors are changing. I will distract myself to do something else instead of making my emotions go deep and allowing it to happen. It is a decision for you to make. Honestly, you can defeat it if you really want it. You can plan what to do when you are alone: watch movies, comedy videos, write, play games, learn new things like cooking, drawing, singing, dancing, etc.,
As we know that being alone is leading to loneliness. Loneliness has a bad impact on mental and physical health. According to the studies you are putting yourself at risk to have depression, heart attack, low esteem, and obesity.
In my case, it never affects my social life and my relationship with others. I can work with a group of people or hang out with others. Every Thursday or Friday I have my voice lessons. Thanks to my coach Ate Abigail. Every Saturday @bhattg teaches me the Hindi language.
No for loneliness. Make yourself happy and productive even if you are alone. You can control your emotions and body. Do not let the negativity eat you alive. Once you let that happen the struggles will begin for you.
