Summary
We came here to build on Hive as a business and grow and expand the Hive eco system. We did pretty well at it initially. In fact our Gif views for hive projects with backlinks in has more views than the whole of the Hive eco system. However the more we have got to know Hive the more we realise this is not a place to build. This is a place where you build then people come and knock it down after huge investments of time and the building of communities.
Some people who are both bullies and ignorant of what they are doing and the effect they are having on people that are quietly promoting communities and engagement are constantly being knocked down or downvoted for what is pennies. It is not the money for us, it is the vulnerability of building here and why it is not feasible to be here.
I mean I see what was done to the @freecompliments community, the Rising Star and Naira community and it just makes you think why bother? Those people day in and day out working to build something then bullied off the blockchain. I see other people who I onboarded leaving because of HW and this is the tip of the iceberg.
I see what people like @acidyo and his cronies do to things to people and communities that they don't understand the value of and what @themarkymark do to people who are just doing their thing and trying to build things and it sickens me. The funding that is abused on the DHF also sickens me. I mean @hivewatchers are funded for bullying little people while blatantly ignoring the bigger players. Of course like all bullies they all justify what they are doing "for the good of hive" while doing exactly what they are telling everyone to do.
There are lots of others people doing these things an unfortunately the future for Hive is not so bright with the current way it is working. I have met some good people here on Hive, most of them have left. I wonder why? As a famous person once said....
