The Secret to a Good Hike
I love a good reason to hike
Walking is better than a bike
You just need to make it fun
That's half the battle done
What about a treasure hunt,
Why not give that a punt?
Or my most favourite thing?
Give geocaching a ping.
You'll walk for hours
Admiring the flowers
Getting excited at each find
Working out clues in your mind
Or using the co-ordinates
Looking in corners of love gates
In hollows of trees
in the summer breeze
Before you know it
You are getting fit
The day is gone
And you can't wait for dawn.
To do it all again.
It's perfect zen.
