I'm thinking one needs two entirely separate accounts to function fully. One would be just curating and posting non personal stuff. The other would be completely unlinked and just happily blogging about your life among your close circle of friends. I mix somewhat but it's tough.
I don't recommend people brag about how rich they are. Even if you don't brag, it's still risky on the transparent blockchain. I would be very nervous if my assets on this platform got above 100k. A lot of rich Steemians boast of their travel plans and have their images all over the place. Those kinds of riches are very tempting to less scrupulous folk.
