ATTENTION: All Musicians & Performers
Time is truly getting tight now, folks!
This instrumental was released in February of 1969. The song became one of the biggest hits for the band, Booker T & the MG’s. It peaked at #7 on the R&B charts and #6 on the Pop charts. Somebody put some fun eye-candy imagery to it on a YouTube video, which I’ll play for you later in this post. I thought it was a fitting musical accompaniment to include with this critical update.
We have come a long way since we began this Epic Worldwide Collaboration Project, and are now coming into the home stretch! Beginning RIGHT NOW, there is a BIG PUSH for:
Though we will still accept and consider auditions for other parts, we’ve already got a really-good handle on dual drums, dual bass, horns, and keyboards at this juncture.
What we need now is some killer guitar work and vocals to wrap up our preliminary mix-downs! Thereafter, we’ll have only 2-weeks left to finish up mixing, mastering, and video production. So…

This is a rare clip from a concert that starred Creedence Clearwater Revival. Seen offstage are John Fogerty, Doug Clifford (w/beard), and Stu Cook (w/glasses).
In closing, @pechichemena and I have worked really hard to get where we are today, and we look forward to all of the home-stretch auditions to bring this thing home.
