As one of the 5 judges, and as an original artist also, I aim to represent the best original artists in this contest from our wonderful Steemit community. I am keeping my ears open for cover artists as well, don't worry but creating an original song is indeed impressive, especially if executed and performed well. This week had many many gems and wonderful music to heal the soul and move the hearts, and there were still many talented performers who entered, so forgive me if I didn't list you, I definitely heard everyone's entries. Skill recognizes skill and you truly are talented as we have highlighted before with your partner by your side and such as this solo showcases, you perform in multiple languages and multiple rhythmic styles and vocal approaches. As a singer, I definitely appreciate your spot on beautiful voice and the silly notes you sang in French. As a pianist and guitar enthusiast, I commend and appreciate your seamless and smooth guitar strumming. The best part of this awesome performance is, as an emcee, I really enjoyed your Spanish rapping towards the end. I am a sucker for good high quality Hip Hop and you nailed it flawlessly. Much respect and thank you for keeping the bar high for all your fellow contestants. It makes judging much easier especially this being a catchy and fine tuned original song.

2. @granaddiction’s ”No Bebo Mas” Original Song
Talk about nice singing vocals. It’s amazing to see a singer hit so many notes within a performance like this. Your range is easily highlighted in this wonderful original song. The chorus is very catchy and you did great from start to finish pouring your soul into every word to bring out the depth of the meaning of this song. It gave me a bit of reminiscence of Maxwell’s falsetto voice, as well as, Prince’s high end singing style. Such a great range is truly a gift and talent to share with the world and you know how to use it to your advantage when writing and composing your material. I look forward to more of your entries.

This is so full of soul, life and emotion like your other entries have been and you consistently brand your unique style with impacting music. If anyone needs to calm down, explore the ambience of freedom, love and peace, as well as ponder life questions and purpose, I would direct them to listen to your music. 4. @onetruebrother’s "Fair-Lily" Original Song
For all animal lovers, especially dog owners, this one hits deep in the heart. I love music with a purposeful meaning and a message. To lose a precious part of your life such as what’s transpired in this storytelling song, it reminds us of how fleeting life can be. The emotional aspect of this song reminds me of my own dog naturally and I know the feeling of having such a loyal and comforting companion always sticking by your side through any situation, who would defend and protect you, and gives an unconditional love worthy of acceptance as a family member. To some people, domestic dogs are just dogs and domestic cats are just cats, but it’s more profound and deeper than that. This song is a beautiful memoir to a sweet soul named Lily and I bid her a peaceful eternal rest. Thanks for sharing with us another great and intimately personal piece.

5. @zhusatriani’s ”Farruca Flamenco" Cover Song
You are easily one of my favorite guitarists when you showcase your Flamenco prowess. Your Flamenco style was the reason you had caught my ear in the first place and I am extremely happy to hear more of these kinds of entries trickling back in to keep the cultural diversity on the high end within our communtiy. You played this with such precision and ease yet with an energetic flair of picking and strumming unmatched to other styles. I always get hyped listening to a Flamenco, the sound awakens the soul with vibrant life and momentum and you performed this piece really well. Thanks for this gem.
