Are there more good or bad people? More evil or kindness in the world?
To tell you the truth, I was sure that despite there're REALLY good and kind people with big caring hearts, most people are indifferent to other people's troubles.
If a trouble is not mine, there is no trouble - that is the principle of the most of people nowadays. I saw examples every day.
People are concentrated on their own lives, their own problems.
I can't say they all are evil or bad, they just don't care about others, don't pay attention to problems if they aren't connected with their family.
But the tragedy that happened in my city some days ago (mass murder, a terroristic attack, many names are given now) showed me that my opinion about people was too pessimistic!
I didn't expect how united, friendly, caring and sympathetic people could be!
If I speak about my family and my wounded nephew, I must admit that we were just covered with attention and people's wish to help us.
Our phones rang all the time, hundreds of messages, propositions of help, money support, free transport, any medical help etc.
When our boy was transported to the capital of the Crimea for the second operation on his leg, my friends from that city at once proposed us flats to live or taking care of the boy, cooking food and looking after him.
I was surprised.. I was crying when my brother (the boy's father) got new and new propositions, and his phone didn't keep silent any minute!
He said: I didn't expect that I have so many good friends...
In ordinary life we don't communicate with other people too much, don't spend time together, so we aren't close friends with them, but when the tragedy came, they all were ready to leave their own problems.
It's really priceless...
The same situation is with the whole city!
People were united by this grief! They all were like one family!
I didn't expect it either...
All Kerch web-resources were full of prepositions of any kind of help.
People were ready to give their cars, money, to come anywhere and anywhen to help wounded people or families of killed kids.
When blood was needed for operations of wounded, and the local blood station gave an ad about it, in some hours it was full of any types of blood!
People were standing for hours to be donors!
And even when they were said, that there was no need in blood any more, they didn't go away, they wanted to help!
Moreover, this tragedy united people from all Crimean and Russian cities.
Kerch groups in the social webs were full of messages from people from different places who were ready to help wounded people who had been transported to their cities for better medical help.
I was reading all these messages and propositions and understood - we are not alone!
