The inventions of low-cost solar cells from blackberry Fruit.

A group of scientists in India have invented a very low cost solar cell from blackberry Fruit. Professor Soumitra Shastapathi of the Indian Institute of Technology ,is leading this team. Scientists have made a cost-effective pigment in dark-sized pigments in a dyed-sensitized solar cell (DOSC) that requires photo-sensitivity to absorb sunlight.It has been seen that the blackberry Fruit can pull sunlight easily. Such type of dye-sensitized solar cell is also called 'gretzheel cell'.Soumitra's paper is published in the journal International Journal of Photo voltaics. Soumitra Saptapathi said, 'Black color made me feel first, in any way, whether it can be used as a photo center or die (dye) for making a dye-sensitized solar cell. Later, I became encouraged, because there is no shortage of blackberry Fruit trees in our country. There are plenty of blackberry Fruit trees in our campus. ' The researchers brought out the pigment in blackberry Fruit with ethanol or ethyl alcohol. The color pigment is called 'Anthosyanin', which is brought out of blackberry Fruit. In describing this innovation process, Soumitra said, "We have used our innovative cell as a photo center. Generally, a pigment from ruthenium was used to absorb sunlight so long. But it is quite expensive. In comparison to that colorful pigment in the blackberry Fruit, at the cost of our solar cell photo centhesiser can be done. And it can be done effortlessly and very easily. The need for alternative fuels has increased due to the warming and the fossil fuel supply is running out. In that case, solar power can become the ideal alternative fuel. And if it can be made at a very low cost, then there is no other reason. '
