A couple of days ago, I put up a post on my @untersatz witness account (co-owner with @organduo) about a Discord bot. Long story short, @themarkymark preferred that the #witness-category tag be used specifically for witness-related activities. I agreed that I should be more prudent with this tag as to not clutter it up.
Whilst on this topic, I recalled seeing an epic actifit post that had a billion tags (all have been removed since then, but I took some screenshots...plural). I reported this to him and he added it to his Global Blacklist API. Since then he has launched an SPS Proposal to futher develop this great service. You can support that here if you wish. I use it for the voting bots @organduo.voter and @giphy too.
Now onto the blacklist checker! To use it, just simply type !blacklist-check <username> anywhere on the blockchain. @untersatz will come back and reply to you (hopefully!).
It may be useful in situations where a low-rep account or spammy comment appears on your post. You can quickly check to see if they are on the Global Blacklist.
