Pancakes strike back
The other day @eveuncovered has inadvertently bombed my feed by posting a picture of delicious pancakes
That was an absolutely pancake-offensive move on her side and I have decided to retaliate by making some more pancakes myself.
Now I hope there isn't going to be a pancake steem war starting...
Although a feed filled with pancakes and pancakes in trending would be ridiculously fun.
That's where a pancake bot of @themarkymark would definitely come in handy xD
If you'd like to join in the #pancakebattle and are too lazy to mix things up here is my go-to lazy pancake recipe.
Since these are retaliation pancakes I've made them using
- 250g cottage cheese (quark)
- one egg
- a little bit of flour (to stiffen the batter a little bit)
- optional 1 tablespoon sugar, 1/2 teaspoon baking powder
Mix the egg and the cottage cheese first, then add the flour.
The batter should be somewhat thick. Once it's the desired consistency just spoon some into the frying pan, preheated and oiled. Turn when one side gets golden in color.
I usually eat these ones with maple syrup, honey or jam, and a little bit of sour cream.
