We were so spoiled living in metropolitan areas like Boston and DC, so it's been a while since we've been able to enjoy eclectic fare. Alaskan food is generally less exciting. It is, after all, a rugged wilderness.
Thanks to Yelp!, we found Turkish Delight, a Mediterranean restaurant that serves fresh falafel, pita, and the like! Their odd hours had left us turned away several times, but we finally made it.
In the photo, I got a Turkish coffee, which I haven't had in years. My wife got a lentil soup. We both got falafel pockets, which were flavorful and reminded us of the many cultures we left behind on the east coast.
