The event which is a seminar-cum-workshpp would cover three topics:
- Importance and Threats of Technology by Pearl Asentista, a good friend of mine
- Social Media and Nation-Building by me
- and then a bit of Anti-Bullying with the END Program of JCI Bai Lawanen
The pool of participants will be young leaders and most of them are students.
Hello everyone! I had been so busy organizing for this event. The overall amount I need to pay is $75 (Php 3,5000). That only covers the venue with projector and audio system and the food wherein $60 of it is consumable with the menu that McDonald's have.
I had paid Php1,000 or $20 for the down payment for the venue. My friend Kaloy, who works at the Special Forces of Philippine Army sent me that amount of money as he was pleased to sponsor the event. Thank you so much Kaloy for answering the call.
My Auntie Belen also sent me $20. $10 is from a good friend Ryan who is just 14 years old and wants to support the event as well.
Now, my aunt, one of the other sponsor backed out. Although it was just $20, it really meant a lot to me because I am unemployed and that those who needed to pay me for my services such as content writing and layout making haven't even paid me yet.
As you can see, the event would be on September 29 and having a sponsor back out on the said event is alarming as I would have no time to look for people to tap.
I really just broke down awhile ago and thinking ways how I could raise the amount needed and I have thought maybe someone or some people can help me here.
