Hey my Fellow Steemians lovers of art
I was a little off here because of all the electric problems that we have in Venezuela. In addition, I was sick for a few weeks but now I am fully recovered and with content and so much to tell you again! I came back on a very special day! The Mother's day! We celebrate this in my country giving a lot of gifts and doing so much for our mother showing them our love. For this, I have to say thank you to all the community of steemit because thanks to the earnings I had here in the platform I was able to buy and made a pretty gift to my mother with my own money for the first time xD
Here I tell you the story of this :3
I was wondering what I was able to give to my mom on a special day like this, and as a signal, I got a call from one of my best friends, Gabriela. She just got graduated from a course to be a Baker. her last project looked amazing! Oh my gosh... she made a cheesecake with chocolate truffles! I was so proud of her! We started to talk a lot about and stuff, then I told her my dilemma with my mom's gift, and she told me she could help me out with it, and maybe together we could make a gift for my mother. And yes! I loved that idea, I decided that I would love to make chocolates for my mom, a and that its what we did. I changed my SBD's to bolivares, the usual coin here. And I went to buy a good baker's chocolate! I bought two lipsticks too to enhance the gift xD
I used special chocolate made here in Venezuela, the Venezuelan chocolate is so special and the cacao is very rich and tasteful, so I didn't have to search so much. The thing to make this "bombones" is that the chocolate you buy has to be at least 60% cacao. After buying the chocolate, I went to my friend's house and we prepared everything!
First, we cleaned with alcohol the table where we were about to work on. Then we proceded to chop the chocolate in tiny pieces so it could be more easy to melt. We melted the chocolate in a maria's bath (with the steam of boiling water).
Then the part that I was more afraid of came! Results that for prepare the melted chocolate for being a "bombon" a crunchy sweet, it has to be tempered, and to do so, you have to extend the chocolate like a body cream over the table xD that was so weird! All of this process was explained to me by my friend Gabriela. We did all that process and then we put the chocolate again in the original cooking pot. Then we proceed to put the chocolate in the molds, we put peanut butter in them as the filler and put moore chocolate. the final result was like this :
Doing this was one of the most difficult things that I ever cooked xd but was super fun! and the chocolates filled with peanut butter are heaven!!! I enjoyed doing this with my friend. I head home, I bought it cardboard and made these boxes
And then, I give them to my mother and granny. They loved them, they said they were amazing! All the work was worth to gave my beautiful mother a pretty mother's day! We used our time playing and making a perfect day for my mom :3

This one was a pretty different post from what I'm used to, but it is just because it was and special day and I didn't want to miss the opportunity to share this with you all.
