Giving back during the holidays!
I am a strong believer in treating others the way I would like to be treated myself; living with an awareness of my karma, the golden rules or whatever you want to call is very important to me!
Why would I desire or expect others to treat me a certain way if I wouldn't treat them the same way back?
In the past I have been helped by random strangers in my travels when I was broke and needed help the most! Also people here on steemit helped me get back home when I had problems with my flight with donations made to the @t-r-f emergency fund not just once but twice! So I always try to do the same for others and give back to them when they need help!
That which Is given, shall be received
Recently I have donated SBD to several steemians asking for help! After I donated to a few of them to help support them, I noticed @merej99 making post she called "Barn raising steemit style" to help several of the same people by donating all rewards made from each post using the hash tag "payitforward". So I decided to use the same hashtag for this post!
When their are those in need I sometimes feel a calling to help. Yet I obviously can't give money to everyone because A) I don't even have enough money to do that B) It wouldn't be wise for me to do that since it would then take away from me & my own projects that I need to fund!
So i decide to when to give or not to give to someone in need based on my inner intuition. If I feel like I will be empowered from my gift to other peron, then I decided to give to them what I feel is best. If I feel like what I am going to give to them will take away from me, then I decide to keep it for myself.
I know the money that I give away and let go of will come back to me in different ways, so I am never afraid of not having enough for supporting myself!
Steemians in need that I have donated to!
Using the rule that I have mentioned earlier I have guided myself when I felt a calling to help other people on steemit who need help and support for the struggles that they are currently dealing with in their life!
First I donated to @Klye, who needed help with moving costs!
Then I donated to @writingamigo, All his money stolen in Peru
After that I donated to @l0k1, his laptop broke
After that I donated to @shla-rafia, he was homeless & got sick
Last I donated to @breezin, lost his job right before Christmas!

I have donated to @cryplectibles, he is the only income for his daughter and needs rent money!
