The United Nations (UN) or United Nations (UN) is the organization that gathers the countries of the world. The goal is to realize world peace and cooperation among member states. The UN was established on June 28, 1945, shortly after the end of World War II. The United Nations was founded by four major countries, namely the United States, the Soviet Union, Britain, and China. The UN was formed to make the world order better and more peaceful, free of war and hostility. The organization is headquartered in the city of New York, USA.
Despite being established by the major powers, UN membership is open to all countries of the world. To date, UN members amount to 191 countries. Thus, almost all countries in the world have become UN members.
All UN member states have the same position. Large and small countries, whether rich or poor, all have equal rights and duties for the creation of world peace.

Perserikatan Bangsa-Bangsa (PBB) atau United Nations (UN) adalah organisasi yang menghimpun negara-negara di dunia. Tujuannya adalah untuk mewujudkan perdamaian dunia dan kerja sama antarnegara anggota. PBB didirikan pada 28 Juni 1945, tidak lama setelah perang dunia ke II berakhir. PBB didirikan oleh empat negara besar, yaitu Amerika Serikat, Uni Soviet, Inggris, dan Cina. PBB dibentuk untuk membuat tatanan dunia menjadi lebih baik dan damai, terbebas dari peperangan dan permusuhan. Organisasi ini bermarkas di kota New York, Amerika Serikat.
Walaupun didirikan oleh negara-negara besar, keanggotaan PBB terbuka bagi semua negara di dunia. Sampai saat ini, anggota PBB berjumlah 191 negara. Jadi, hampir seluruh negara di dunia telah menjadi anggota PBB.
Semua negara yang menjadi anggota PBB memiliki kedudukan yang sama. Negara besar maupun kecil, baik kaya atau miskin, semuanya memiliki hak dan kewajiban yang sama bagi terciptanya perdamaian dunia.
