IMO it wont be long before we start branding AI as AS- artificial stupidity. Case in point the recent list of fatal crashes of Tesla autopilot cars, Google translator spewing out eerie prophecies, 98% defect rate of Facial recognition technology, Alexa's stupidity.
IMO AI/AS is overrated still. Under the perfect operating conditions (boundary values set by the coders) it might be reliable, but not in dealing with real life ambiguities. AI cant replace a cab driver in the overpopulated cities of a developing country, not in foreseeable future.
