Hmmm... I have to admit I used to think it like this. But you know the whole "The Universe is an Egg" that Andy Weir wrote about?
On a fundamental level, I agree consciousness and creation are indistinguishably interlinked in virtually every conceptual way we can think of; but in "The Egg" I liked the idea that there is a fundamental separation that Creator made Creature to become Creator to make Creature.
It's like what came first, the chicken or the egg?
That's a never-ending conundrum, but what we can be sure of, is that first there was one, and then the other, and they were separate and necessary to create the cycle of reproduction.
Before there was creation, there had to be consciousness, or before there was consciousness, there had to be creation.
Or would you be more inclined to believe then that both have always co-existed throughout all eternity, there was never a before and after, they just always were?
In that case: they must have existed in a "field of potentiality", before being created. This field of potentiality, or just energy... There's clearly a difference between it, and the actual thing, created and experienced, via consciousness
This is where I see there is a fundamental difference between energy (potential) and consciousness (creation)...
This difference can be resolved in a singularity or a void, but in a space that is filled with stuff?
I'm speaking of this Universe and of course am excluding all the infinite possibilities for other universe, be they parallel to ours or simply existing in a field of infinite potentiality.
There's a difference between this Universe as it is, and how every point of consciousness (Soul) is experiencing it, and the infinite field of potential Universes and points of consciousness that could exist parallel to this one, before or after, above or bellow, or whatever we may conceptualize.
We definitely do make up a source consciousness in the sense that we are all emanating from the infinite field of potentiality, and we are all definitely "created" by this "God"/field of pure potential
And I completely agree to you that via semantics, or just the vast spectrum of possible modes of perception of our Universe that disagreement and conflict can emerge, so none of us can really claim to be seeing things accurately outside of pure convention, and agreement that yes we temporarily agree to be seeing the same thing and can confirm it through the poor instrument of telepathic exchange we call language. Emotion can also tell us a lot about our Universe, and disembodied or altered states of consciousness, I believe, can tell us even more
All in all, it's all love and it's all God and we can keep it simple for the kids haha :)
I just like to have fun exploring dat nitty-gritty >:D
