Yeah! this would come to be the twenty-second chapter of my Let's be honest ¡PLEASE! ¿Can we? series of posts. So, consider this post the (chapter twenty two)
Ok, for some time over these seven years I've been thinking about publish a post like this today. Well yeah, perhaps a bit weird to you, but just out of pure curiosity. ¿Aren't you a curious chap too?
Well, anyway...
"We are led to believe that the opposite of authority is anarchy. However the opposite of authority is autonomy"

"The path of the searcher/explorer too often is a very lonely and silent dusty road always with the sharp look put into find the proper cracks around us in order to place our skilled and steady fingers inside those elusive cracks and impulse our old jaded bones along. Always replete of infinite awe and curiosity up and ahead of what is in front of us in this formidable adventure we all use to call life."
"We've born alone. We live alone. «and» We'll die alone"
Too many times and too often I have wondered if I am too normal. Too much in the middle. Too balanced. Too much in the center. Too average, you know? Well, at least from a "social" point of view.
Well yeah, more than anything from a "social" point of view. Ahem, I mean, from a "social and human" point of view as for consolidating lasting cordial relationships with other specimens of my own specie and with whom after have been able to establish healthy bonds of similar interests & knowledge, reciprocal intellectual enrichement and experiences of mutual benefit by interacting with each other on a daily basis for many years.
I suppose anyone would think that I also could be the receiver of as many favors and the same courtesies as those who have received them in the same place as me. And with whom I have had close contact and some kind of "social" relationship over all those years. Correct?
And well, no. Nope. That doesn't look to have been the case. I must have done something different or I must have been doing something differently to everyone else. And I wonder why it's like that? ¿What exactly I must have done differently to everyone else? ¿Is it because I have always been too normal? ¿I've been too balanced? ¿I've been too average? ¿I've been too much in the middle? ¿I've been too much in the center?
Or perhaps, perhaps it's because I am also actually too frank, sincere, honest, authentic, direct and I speak bluntly and I say things as I see them and spit my mind out freely to tell my truths as I see fit without fears nor restrictions to find a bigger and ultimate truth?
Oh yeah, I suspect that must not seem too normal to most people. Indeed, it definitely won't look too average for the rest of the world. Perhaps that's precisely why I have always remained so balanced. Too in the middle. Too in the center. And often away from all the favors, courtesies and perks that others receive. ¿Doesn't that seem like a logical and reasonable explanation to you? ¿Could that be the cause?
Ok, let's see...
I'm gonna try to make a brief recount throughout these seven years in relation to my relationship with other influential and recognized colleagues in the same place where I've been working all these years and who also have a similar seniority to mine in this workplace.
And to carry out this brief recount, of course I will have to mention them. Although they probably don't like it or it will bothers them. But what can we do? I'll have to mention them anyway so my readers can get to know all those who can really make a difference here, in this place, by granting favors and social courtesies in our workplace in pro of our continual and healthy growth.
Let's take a very quick look at the possible reason why I think I must be too normal, too average, too balanced and I am more in the middle and in the center than everyone else in this ecosystem in relation to my growth.

Let's mention just some of the most influential for our growth with whom I have had some contact and also some sort of relationship during all these years:
In terms of support and upvotes:
@ranchorelaxo & @haejin: Not a single upvote from them on my posts at all in seven years. Not even by mistake. LoL, I wonder why?
@freedom @appreciator & @bluemist: Huy! perhaps only one or two upvotes long long time ago. But surely it was by mistake or because of some contest in which I was participating.
@blocktrades @blocktrades.com @alfa: Sheesh! to tell the truth, I can't recall if he or some of his many other Alts have given to one of my posts any straight upvote with a high VP percentage. Perhaps only some tiny ones because he was following some "curator" trail or something. But nothing else.
@theycallmedan @threespeak @threespeakvoter @stoodkev @drbanner @encouragement @aliento @aliento.love @eddiespino: Well, I think without fear of being wrong. All of these users, same like the first ones on this list, have never upvoted one of my posts neither by mistake nor because they have been following some "curation" trail or something.
@acidyo @ocdb @ocd @usainvote @meritocracy: Yep, these popular and well-known users may have upvoted more than a couple of my posts way back when I used to be included in the whitelist in their "social" thingy back in the days of steemit. And more recently in Hive. Maybe only a trio more times, but only because one of the organizers of some contests that they were sponsoring and in which I was participating selected my post as one of the winners. However, I would almost dare to bet that all of them have downvoted my posts much more times than those they have upvoted.
@trafalgar & @traf: Well, this opulent user and erratic "curator" may have upvoted a handful of my humorous posts over these seven years, but only many years ago, when apparently, he was personally in charge of issuing those upvotes since he presumably was a fan of humorous and comedy content. Although here in Hive, I think only a couple of times and nothing more.
@tribesteemup @resonator @xeldal @enki @v4vapid: The Deepdives & Informationwar paladins. Well, this is a very curious case. But these known whales, champions of justice and promoters of controversial content. I think that very very few times or almost never they upvoted one of my controversial posts directly with high VP either. Maybe and if anything, only with a very low percentage of VP just because they were following some minor "curation" trail.
@themarkymark @buildawhale & his Alts: Well, this well-known businessman owner of bidbots in the days of steemit. It is also well known that he was never very interested in giving anyone upvotes unless they paid him for it or did him a favor of some kind. Since what he enjoyed the most, it was always the bizniz of downvotes and the creation of the infamous blacklists on both platforms to steal to the authors their few pennies. Both in steemit and in Hive. Because he always has seen himself as some sort of SJW of the blockchain. So, if you've ever have seen an upvote from any of their different accounts in a post of mine. It must have been a long time ago on steemit when I paid him to do it because surely I was doing some of my many daring experiments back in the days.
Some other known whales and a few varied minor "curators" like @curangel @leo.voter @bdvoter @qurator @minnowsupport @neoxian: Well, rare, really very rare that any of them have upvoted any of my posts significantly enough as to be able to remember them. Maybe just a couple of times and only because I was participating in some contest that they were sponsoring granting me just few cents. Because if it hadn't been like that, I didn't even know they existed and that they gave upvotes to someone.
And last, let's mention also a handful of regular Orcas & Dolphins with an usual upvote over $1.00 upto $10 value. Who likes to upvote frequently and surely you often have seen their upvotes on many posts out there so far. @broncnutz @edicted @jphamer1 @trostparadox @kommienezuspadt @canadian-coconut: Uhm, well, if I had to count on one hand the votes that these Orcas and Dolphins have given to any of my posts over the years, surely I would have fingers left over. Because in all honesty, I don't remember seeing their usernames much on the list of those who upvote my content or have upvoted my posts or comments in general. But yeah, I know some have done it at least once. And others, uhm others, I remember very well that they have never done it.
And well, this is the post that hopefully explains why I wonder if I should change my current cologne, my perfume, my fragrance or my scent. Because after seven years, all this begins to give me the impression and I have a strong hunch that this thing of being too normal, too balanced, too average, too centered, too in the middle to grow my account.
Maybe, just maybe, it has something to do with some digital odor of smartass that the people with lots of money may not like it much socially. And this, this my friend, this is somehow hurting my healthy growth in the "social network" on the blockchain these days.
That's why I had to mention and summoned here to the most influential, eminent, outstanding and refined smelling tasters of social aromas in our "social network" on the blockchain. Because after so many years, it's about time that these experts sommeliers, tasters, catadours and big noses give me some clue to clear up the mystery of my slow "social" growth in the chain compared to others.
Because although I always smell myself every day before coming to work, I always perceive a very pleasant "social" smell of Lavender Puig or Pino Silvestre and therefore I can bet that this cannot be the cause of my normality and stagnation. It definitely has to be something else. Hey! perhaps it just has to do with the fact that all of them are still too young to be familiar with all kinds of colognes, perfumes, fragrances and scents. ¡That's all! What do you think, is it feasible?
Well, in any case, I suspect the hardest thing to bear with on this life, must be being standing up in front of a mirror and being unable to clearly recognize and identify who the hell is that one in the reflection in front of you. And I tell you, I watch myself in the mirror every day, just once when I get up. And I always recognize myself. Hence, I would just hope and aspire everyone does the same from time to time.
¿Can you recognize your own reflection in the mirror?
