It’s easy to see life as a glorious wonderland filled with the highest forms of creation, when your immersed in the wilderness.
Yet as the asphalt maze reappears, it’s easy to see life as an endless struggle where corrosive social constructs confine mankind to slavish animal like existence. Seeing the tidal wave of threats appear on the horizon, feeling overwhelmed comes naturally, and universal prosperity seems unlikely.
Blending the worlds, there is an infinite intelligence organizing and breaking apart all of existence, reforming it in an eternal dance. There are subtle and invisible patterns spinning like gears in a complex and chaotic machine, propelling life forward, and comprehending it all, is neither the task of a scientist or saint. It is a mystery.
I’m beginning to become more comfortable with this mystery. I don’t have to wrap my mind around the multi dimentional web of hyper connected possibility, nor know how to unwind it’s golden thread.
I am okay with not knowing, for my mind is hungry for the fruit of understanding, and I am compelled by a tugging on my soul.
Just do something- something to improve the world.
