After resting for a few minutes, we started walking again towards our next goal - Mt. Gungal, which is the second peak before reaching the main peak called Mt. Ulap. We have to go down a few steps from our current location to reach the trekking path below.
We just have to be careful because the tiny rocks can cause a slip, so stepping on larger solid rocks and balance is the key. For people who fear heights, this place could mean trouble already because the passage is a bit stiff.
But once you get to pass it, the rewarding view can take all those fears and exhaustion away.
We just continue walking, following the open trail, as we passed by one tree to another.
We also descend from a part of the mountain and ascend on to another as we are nearing our secondary objective.
We also passed by a herd of mountain cows, they have different colors and they are spending their time below the pines trees. Good thing they are not aggressive, some cows like these in Quirino province get angry when their domain is disturbed.
Looks like these cows are used to seeing people that they consider passerby as not a threat.
The clouds were also slowly dissipating and the heat is getting noticed and we can feel it as we walk along.
Now, we can already see the entrance to another open view. Just a few meters ahead and we will reach it already. I took photos of the surrounding area right after. Yet we are still far from the second peak which is Mt. Gungal.
Here ends this today's episode, stay tuned for more. Maraming salamat po!(Thank you very much!)
