Here's my first attempt at solargraphy. This is a 5-month exposure, showing the sun's path across the sky. I placed photographic enlargement paper, essentially low-sensitivity film, in a beer can with a pinhole. The homemade pinhole camera was mounted onto my parents' roof, and left from July to winter solstice. It is, of course, a low quality image. But I was surprised at how discernible the foreground turned out. It's also interesting to see the path of the sun, and the gaps representing cloudy days.
For comparison, here's another photo I took of the stars from roughly the same spot a few years ago. Both are facing south, and show the arcs across the sky of celestial bodies.
