On this road trip we had crazy hours since we wanted to get so many places in for sunrise, sunset, and stars.
The first night it started with an all nighter drive to Truckee, CA and this was sunrise on the last morning when we woke up at 3AM to drive from the Alabama Hills to Zabriskie in Death Valley NP. This was also about a 50º temperature swing. It was in the low 30's in Alabama Hills and as soon as the sun came up it was nearly 80º in Death Valley, the warmest we'd been all week.
After shooting sunrise it was time to head home, but not before we made a stop in Valley of Fire State Park in Nevada. Photos from there to come later. I'd like to say that this day was the longest day of the trip, waking up at 3 AM and getting home around 8PM, but I'm pretty sure every day of the trip was like this.
