Introduction
Many of us agree that the photography tag is broken. Many well-intentioned users use the photography tag indiscriminately, leaving the experience of browsing for actual high quality photography frustrating.
I wrote a post crowdsourcing ideas on how to fix this issue, there were a lot of interesting ideas floating around but we(@jrue, @aweber, @yumyumseth and I) decided to go with the immediate fix while building for a more long-term solution.
Enters @photofeed
@photofeed is a project that aims to make finding high-quality photography on the steem blockchain more fun.
Our solution has 4 parts:
- Launching the #photofeed hashtag
- Having a powerful curation trail that is profitable for everyone
- Weekly round-up post to increase the exposure and share the rewards with great artists
- Getting ready for communities as well as a possible app down the line
How to Participate
- Join our curation trail at steemauto.com
- Post your high quality photography using the #photofeed hashtag
- Get rewarded for your good work!
Incentives
@PhotoFeed has my backing and I'm sponsoring this initiative with my upvotes. To maximize participation and curation rewards for others, he will upvote 30 minutes after @photofeed does. If you upvote before @photofeed does (and @cryptoctopus), not only will you help people find good photography but you will also make a profit doing so!
Conclusion
Join our discord channel!. There we can answer your questions, hang out between photographers and discover about each other's work! Please follow @photofeed and consider becoming a fan and following our trail on steemauto.com!!
