So it seems there is lots happening on the steem blockchain at the moment with the acquisition of steemit by the tron foundation. What does everyone think about the AMA with Justin Sun and Ned today? Can anyone see any light at the end of the tunnel yet (or just a burning Sun)? If we can maintain independent governance of the chain I can't see how this could be a bad thing. Steemit inc was never good at marketing the potential here; to extent that they were negligent to stakeholders and we desperately needed a change in that direction. Access to funding for interface and DApp development, along with the Sun marketing machine which opens up a lot of opportunity for increasing user base and exchange listings. The key statement here however is "if we can maintain independent governance". Time will tell but it seems at least for now we are safe in that direction; and I have faith that the witness have our back here (as they have their own stake to protect). I am keen to see how the Sun machine pushs SMTs when they release. Let me know your thoughts !?
As for the shot I took it looking up the inside towards the open top of a traditional irish medieval round tower. It was likley built sometime between the 10th and 12th centuries. The tower is approximately 29m high and the side light is shining through a window on the left of frame. Kilree monastic site, County Kilkenn, Ireland.
