A few pictures from a day in the town square in Prague. Spent well seeing the astronomical clock, it's hourly show (video below) and exploring the city :) The astronomical clock was built in 1410 and have been reconstructed many times over the centuries. It looks very different from how it used to in the early period.
Every hour the figures on the clock set in motion and is a must watch if you ever visit this city. The 4 figures on the face of the wall represent Vanity, Greed, Death and Lust along with the 12 travelling apostles among which 2 are visible through the frames above. It is said that the city will suffer if this clock is ignored by the people. The clock shows the astronomical dial and the calendar dial.
