This it the enclosure dam, or Afsluitdijk in Dutch, which connects the North Holland province with Friesland. It is a raging 32 kilometers long and is 7 meters above sea level. This enclose dam made the giant bay within our country a lake instead. This picture focusses on the artificial island in the middle of the Afsluitdijk and was made during a cool project for makingwavesnl.nl where we helped out shooting the Aftermovie for their innovation event.
