Hey dear community, at the beginning I hope that you are all doing well and that you had a day that brought some interesting experiences into your life! In this article I would like to address a psychological topic and hope you are able to expand your knowledge.
In the past, I have already taken a closer look at triggers and as a trigger you can understand certain stimuli which are often linked to memories from the past and are evoked again by certain actions and I would like to go into how complex the whole topic can be. Often triggers are very difficult to recognize and stored together with different links deep in the subconscious and a good example is if you have been bitten by a snake and also in later years, it comes to the fact that when you see a snake, this moment from the past is triggered together with the emotions such as fear or panic that took place at that time. Even if the person should perhaps still remember the snake bite from the past, these moments in which the triggers have been created are usually much more complex than one would like to suspect and this moment together with other perceptions that were present at that time are stored in the subconscious and these can be certain smells, colors, places, words, sounds or other things and if just a smell of a certain plant was noticeable while the snake bit the person, it is often enough if the smell is notable again at later times and it comes to that the moment is triggered again, even if no snake can be seen. This example can of course be related to all other types of negative experiences or traumatic experiences and these links make it particularly difficult to recognize the triggers and often it are inconspicuous moments at which this moment suddenly reappears without the person knowing a valid reason for it.
Especially because triggers are often so subliminally anchored and people do not know them, they do not know how to deal with these situations correctly and people are at this time much more susceptible to stimuli that come from outside and often unconsciously this can lead to a strong reaction and can particularly strongly present in traumatic events and if someone reactivate the trigger through certain things, this can lead to serious symptoms. If you know your own triggers, it is easy to deal with them and behave correctly and even if it is about recognizing the triggers of others, this ability can be of great help and people know how to act correctly at the right moment. The more you find access to the subconscious, the easier it is to deal with deep-seated triggers and if someone have, for example, strange symptoms when a certain color is noticeable, you can assume that this is linked to a trigger from past times and this also behaves similarly to other things and if someone react particularly strongly to certain stimuli without knowing the cause, this is an indication that these could be connected with experiences from the past and it makes it easier to work on them more closely. One way to give yourself even more to your own triggers are dreams, which are also considered a reflection of the subconscious, and by learning certain techniques such as lucid dreaming or others is a good way to deal more closely with the hidden self and to get to know or heal triggers.
Many thanks for stopping and I hope you could learn something new about psychology! I captured these pictures with my Camera Sony Alpha 6000 plus 55-210 mm lens.
