I think some of the most fascinating patterns are those created by nature. They are sublime and incredibly detailed. It's difficult to describe them in any other way than simply calling them “natural.” That seems to be the most fitting word to capture the essence of patterns shaped by nature. They appear in so many forms, yet each one feels unique.
Are they random? I don't think so. They don’t seem entirely random because they appear to follow certain rules in their formation. There’s a specific way the surface is shaped—every bump and contour on a leaf seems carefully moulded. Even the material of the leaf looks special, as it allows light to pass through, giving it a translucent quality.
When I saw a tree with huge leaves and an interesting pattern, I took the opportunity to capture a few photos from beneath the leaf. It looked completely different from the top side. Viewing it from underneath was fascinating—the light shining through made it seem as though it were glowing!
Nature's designs remind us that beauty often lies in the smallest details, waiting to be noticed. Observing these patterns invites a deeper appreciation for the world around us. Sometimes, all it takes is a different perspective—like looking up from beneath a leaf—to see the magic.
