A beautiful early morning walk with the dogs before the sunrise, and when the sun finally came up it was a wonderful spectacle to be able to experience.
I lost it.
I was always used to getting up early. I made my first walk with the dogs between 5 and 6 in the morning, then drank my coffee quietly, and then started my day so that around noon I had everything I wanted to do that day. Then there was the afternoon and evening to see what fun things I was going to do ...
In recent months, however, I had completely lost my motivation to get up early. I stayed in bed longer and instead of being ready around noon and having time for fun things ... I now had a completely different day rhytm. And that was certainly not the best. I therefore noticed that I had lost my joy, and even worse, that the depressive thoughts of the past started to reappear.
I was the one who had to change.
This didn't go well. And I knew I was the one who had to change. I am the one who can and must reverse this process, so apart from working on a return as a photographer, I was also busy putting myself back on the right track.
And one of the things that is needed for me ... is getting up early, keeping a rhythm. I can handle very little sleep, but I can't stand a lasting rhythm change. The last week I gave myself the so-called kick under my ass, and I set my alarm again. Every morning between 5 and 6 I got out of bed and out with the dogs.
I am happier again.
For me this means that I am happier again, but also that I get a lot more done in a day. I have much more energy again. And I can again enjoy the beautiful sunrises instead of still being in bed around that time ...
My sun has started to shine again.
