Challenge # 6: Blur in the background
Hi friends, I hope you're fine?
I remind you that I find these exercises in the book of Anne-Laure Jacquart, photographer.
She suggests in her book to do a challenge a week to finish the exercise book after one year and to give us the time to assimilate the exercise and exploit it to the maximum so that's what I intend to do also more or less according to the weeks, it is not a race, it is an apprenticeship of the different techniques, ideas, inspirations that can use an amateur photographer and in love with the beautiful images.
I invite you to perform your photo challenge by taking one or more photos with the theme of blur in the background.
The exercise consists of having a maximum of blur behind the object, the animal, the flower or the person concerned.
The blur that will appear on your image in the background will tickle the imagination, invite to dream...
To get as much blur as possible, you have to get closer to the target to be photographed.
The flowers are a good example to practice this exercise, the leaves or the branches of the trees too.
Or simply everyday objects such as a coffee cup, a decoration, a bottle on a table
The fact that there is blur in the photo does not mean that it is missed or is not good quality, it's just a technique to bring out an element of the image and make the rest a little special filled with mystery and poetry.
Here are some of my photos related to this exercise:
I invite you to share with me your essays 😊
I wish you a nice week-end 😘
See you soon for new photographic adventures!
