One of the first China-built modern warfare tests was successfully completed. Aviation Industry Corporation of China (AVIC), a Chinese state-owned arms company, built the aircraft named FTC-2000G.
This fighter, capable of playing many roles, will be used mainly to hit the ground targets from the sky. It will also be working as a fighter jet and a training aircraft, according to the AVIC. According to a report published in China's local media, the plane has been able to fly from Guizhou to dense clouds for about 10 minutes.
According to information given by Avic, the two-seater aircraft has been developed by improving the advanced aircrafts used by Chinese Air Force and Navy. The maximum speed of the aircraft is one decimal two mph or 1,470 kilometers per hour. During the takeoff, it can carry a maximum of 11 metric tons. The maximum flight range of the aircraft is 2,400 kilometers and the aircraft can reach the height of 15 kilometers.
The aircraft will be able to carry out operations from the sky for three hours in a row. And can carry three tons of missiles, rockets or bombs.
