Neon Lights never give me a dull moment ... (although they are difficult to photograph :D)

Before I had a digital camera, I tried to take pictures of the local kiosk's neon, but it never really worked... I'm fascinated by these works, and would love to be able to make them like this:

Suwannee Gables Motel By: Dusty_73 This very cool neon sign belongs to the Suwannee Gables Motel near the small north Florida town of Fanning Springs. It's nice to see some of these old places still operating, and this one looks to be maintained nicely. The back side of the motel is right on the Suwannee River.

While most people associate the deteriorating building on the west side of Main Street between Central Parkway and 12th Street with the Davis Furniture Company, the history of the building goes further back than the business' arrival in 1939. Burj Khalifa Blue Hour Illumination (explored) By: hpd-fotografy In Dubai they sometimes illuminate one side of the Burj Khalifa. I can't read Arabian, but I guess it's probably nothing more than a commercial for the ever-present Emaar real estate company. Nonetheless, it's looks nicer than the Burj without illumination, but I still wanted something more than that. So I planned this shot as a long exposure during blue hour and across the water, so I get a nice reflection, choosing an angle where one could fully see the illuminated side of the Burj.
